Magic Books, a Giveaway Winner, and a New Blog Post about My Goals for This Year

One of the goals will make you question my sanity. Also including a recap of 2023.

22nd of January, 2024

Moinsen, everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Welcome to this January 2024 edition of the newsletter. The monthly rhythm is suiting me quite well – it’s just the right amount of time to justify sending out some new words to you all.

I hope you had a great end of the year 2023 and started 2024 off in a positive way. ๐Ÿฅณ

As you probably know, at the beginning of each year I tend to set a bunch of goals and take account of how well that goal-setting from the previous beginning of the year worked out for me. This year, I had not just a lot of cool things from 2023 to talk about, but also lots of fun when coming up with how to put my goals for the future into words. I think it has turned out to be quite a ride, this new blog post! The link is at the bottom, as always.

๐ŸŽ‰ Giveaway Winner

But first, here’s a shoutout to our lucky winner of the COROS Pod 2 running sensor! It’s Brian P. from Aberdeen in Scotland. Brian is a reader of the blog (๐Ÿ‘‹ Brian!) and got randomly selected from the bunch of people who applied for winning the Pod 2.

Good timing at Christmas – Congrats again, Brian, may the Pod 2 help you reach your goals

๐Ÿ“š Five New Books on the Virtual Shelf

Then, since the last newsletter I’ve also read through a bunch of new books and put bookshelf summaries on the website.

There’s the very new and already New York Times Bestseller, “Feel-Good Productivity” by Ali Abdaal, but also a few books which most of you probably have known for a long time.

Yes, I finally discovered that Harry Potter rules. It’s 25 years after they have started to get published, but better late than never! Motivated by the constant talking about it from my oldest two daughters, I thought I should finally give it a try as well. And I haven’t regretted it. Those are highly enjoyable! And also addictive. Right now I’m in the middle of the fifth book, “Order of the Phoenix”, having burned through the first four in December. It required a bunch of late nights but it was worth it.

Here are my thoughts on them:

๐Ÿ†• And a Massive New Blog Post

I’m very interested in what you think about the new blog post. Will you find it inspires you or will you think my mental well-being might have suffered? ๐Ÿ˜„ Let me know!
